This past Valentine's Day I was doing what I love - designing an intimate gathering for a client's family in Newport Beach! This particular event was double the fun as it celebrated not only Valentine's Day, but a double birthday too! Cake, chocolate, cookies... everyone was invited! Using two of my favorite bakeries, Bottega Louie and Susie Cakes, I used my own collection of plates and cake stands to platter the desserts. When designing food presentation, I use white dishes as much as possible - let the cuisine be the star! Worth every bite. xox SMJ
